Senior Family Giving
The Senior Family Gift
The Senior Family Gift effort creates a legacy for seniors and their families – one that benefits the entire Friends community and supports the School’s priorities. Established in 1989, this special gift embodies the spirit of two Quaker Testimonies - Stewardship and Community - and serves as the culminating fundraising activity of students and their families before graduating from Friends School.
A committee of seniors, along with parents and caregivers, actively fundraise throughout the year to meet their goal. Their gift may be directed in several ways:
- The Fund For Friends - a portion of the gift always supports the School’s #1 fundraising priority.
- Special Project - Chosen from a list of priorities determined by School leadership, the Class may also choose to support the growth of an endowed fund or capital enhancement project.
